Back in the saddle!

Back In The Saddle.

Having previously discussed hobbies and my long lost passion for Horse Riding, I finally made the decision last week to get back in the saddle.

I can't say that my riding was very graceful, my balance was a little wobbly and there were a few basic things that I had forgotten, but at least I stayed on board! Once my initial nerves subsided the joyous feeling that horse riding brings came rushing back, and I wondered why it had taken me 2 years to pluck up the courage to go back.

It was a friend of mine who shared this photo via social media that really gave me the nudge I needed.

I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for me to return to riding. Easy Riders is a new club for adults, formed for those who want a laid back ride and some stable management tuition, not forgetting a cake and coffee to finish it off... and all for only £12!

I cannot stress enough how cheap this would be for just the riding alone, and not only do you get that extra half hour tuition in stable management, you can also use your new skills and knowledge to complete the ABRS Progressive Tests and gain recognised qualifications as you learn.

Taught by Robyn Norton, a BHS AI Qualified Instructor every Wednesday morning at 10:30am, whether you are new to riding, or returning to the saddle, the Easy Riders Club at Croft Riding Centre is a must!

To book your lesson call 01925 763 715 today and I'll see you there!

Have you ever returned to a hobby/sport after a period of time off? If so I'd love to hear how you felt after your 'first time back...'

  3. I've never ridden properly although I've always wanted to. I'd love to have lessons at some point in the future.
